Jeanie Rieke
Jeanie and her husband relocated full-time to Chelan in 2019 from Woodinville, WA. She and her family spent several decades camping and vacationing in the Chelan Valley prior to settling in the area. Jeanie’s career in corporate auditing and program and project leadership has spanned across various industries including management consulting, healthcare, retail, financial services, and the public sector. Her experience also included a three-year expatriate assignment in Tokyo, Japan.
Working and promoting youth in her community has always been a passion for Jeanie. Creating opportunities to ensure children have a level playing field has led to her to volunteer for various youth education and health-oriented programs and fundraisers. Jeanie is currently involved in scholarship programs, early reading programs and events/programs supporting our local youth. Her first introduction to Thrive was as a volunteer at the Chelan Teen Center. Jeanie quickly recognized the importance of Thrive to the youth in our community; providing a safe and encouraging place for kids to land. She was hooked and is honored to be a part of this fabulous organization.
