Backpack Drive
We’re already thinking about the 2027 Lake Chelan Valley Back to School Fair, and this year we’re starting a little earlier!
We are collecting NEW backpacks throughout the Lake Chelan Valley now through the end of October. You’ll find collection bins at locations all around the valley, making it as easy and convenient as possible to donate.
We are so incredibly grateful to all of the businesses and organizations who have opened their doors and are helping us collect backpacks!

Here’s why we’re doing this now:
Every year, one of the BIGGEST expenses for our Back to School Fair is backpacks. We purchase around 400 new backpacks each year so that every local student who needs one can head into the new school year with a backpack of their own. That adds up to thousands of dollars every year.
At the same time, we know our amazing local businesses have had a really tough year financially. We want to find creative ways to take some of the pressure off of our local businesses while still growing and providing the resources our families have come to count on at the Back to School Fair.

Naan Profit Dinner & Demonstration
DINNER, A DEMO & A NIGHT OUT FOR A GREAT CAUSE!
Join us for a fun evening of good food, a live demonstration, and a chance to support local youth through Thrive Chelan Valley!
This special Dinner & Demo event is the perfect excuse to gather your friends, enjoy a delicious buffet, learn something new, and have a great night out... all while helping make a difference for young people in our community.
Your ticket includes the live demonstration (how to make Chicken Tikka Masala, Coconut Chicken Curry, and fresh Naan!) appetizers, dinner, and dessert. Drinks will be available for purchase separately.
Come hungry, bring your friends, and get ready for a fun evening that gives back to our community.

Feel the Love Fundraiser
Feel the Love Tickets Are LIVE!
Join us on February 21st, from 6–9pm at Manson Cider Press for a special evening celebrating decades of caring for our Chelan Valley community.
The Feel the Love Fundraiser benefits three incredible local nonprofits that continue to show up for our neighbors:
Lake Chelan Food Bank (serving since 1982)
Thrive Chelan Valley / Chelan Teen Center (since 1999)
Chelan Valley Hope (since 2009)
Come enjoy a fun and meaningful night while helping these organizations continue serving our community with empathy, respect, and love.

Mentor Monday
We will be opening up the Teen Centers (alternating between Chelan and Manson) once a month for our mentoring pairs. Come hang out, relax, have dinner, and just enjoy some time together in a fun space!
Freezer Meal Prep
We are excited to try our first Freezer Meal Prep event! Students will have 5 meals to choose from, and can pick 3 that they will get to learn how to make, and take home to share with their families. All FREE! If you have any questions, please email jennie@thrivechelanvalley.com.
