We're looking for an exceptional leader to join our team as our next Program Director. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads with compassion, communicates with confidence, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves when our community needs them most.

About the Role

As Program Director, you'll oversee Thrive's three core programs:

• Thrive Teen Centers

• Thrive Cares

• Thrive Mentoring

You'll also help lead some of our community's most impactful events, including:

• Lake Chelan Valley Back to School Fair

• Manger Mall

• Formal Dress Giveaway

Whether you're helping a student access basic necessities, supporting a volunteer mentor, coordinating hundreds of backpacks for local families, or responding to an unexpected challenge, you'll play a vital role in helping young people thrive.

Responsibilities Include

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of Thrive's core programs.

• Recruit, train, supervise, and support volunteers.

• Build positive relationships with students, families, schools, and community partners.

• Coordinate community events and special projects.

• Help identify student needs and connect youth with resources through Thrive Cares.

• Maintain accurate records, program data, and reporting.

• Collaborate with the Executive Director to strengthen and expand Thrive's impact.

• Ensure programs are safe, welcoming, and trauma-informed.

• Represent Thrive throughout the Lake Chelan Valley with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of the following:

• Youth development / Education

• Social work / Human services

• Nonprofit work

• Volunteer management

• Program coordination

• Community engagement

Experience supervising staff or volunteers, planning events, and working with youth who have experienced trauma is highly desirable.
